Bachelor of Performing Arts - Santoor (Indian Classical )
The Bachelor of Performing Arts (B.P.A.) in Santoor Indian Classical is a Four-Year Degree Program dedicated to nurturing proficient Santoor Players with a strong grounding in the Hindustani Classical Tradition. This program blends intensive practical training with deep theoretical insight to shape students into technically sound musicians, culturally rooted artists, and informed scholars of Indian Classical Music.
This course covers the fundamentals and intermediate techniques of Indian classical Santoor. Students will begin with posture, tuning, and basic right-left hand stroke, Gamak, chikari etc. Emphasis will be placed on Swar Sadhana (note practice), Alankars (patterns), and rhythm control.
